Olga Cheremnykh

Olga Cheremnykh studied at the Novosibirsk and the St Petersburg State Conservatories graduating in 2014. In 2019 she was awarded 2nd prize in the Mirjam Helin Competition in Helsinki. She has also been a prize winner at the P I Slovtsov International Competition for Young Opera Singers, and the 49th Antonin Dvorak International Singing Competition in the Czech Republic.

Her operatic roles include Tatyana Eugene Onegin (St Petersburg ‘Zazerkalie’ Theatre, Krasnoyarsk State Opera Theatre, St Petersburg Conservatory Theatre), Micaëla Carmen (St Petersburg ‘Zazerkalie’ Theatre, Krasnoyarsk State Opera Theatre), Giulietta The Tales of Hoffman, Mimi La Bohème, Kupava in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Snow Maiden, Fiordiligi Così fan tutte, title role in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta (St Petersburg ‘Zazerkalie’ Theatre), Nedda I Paggliaci (Krasnoyarsh State Opera Theatre), Ännchen Der Freischütz, Klara Betrothal in a Monastery and Marfa in Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride (St Petersburg International All Together Opera Festival).

In 2020 she made her role debut as Pamina Die Zauberflöte (International Festival “All-Together opera” under Fabio Mastrangelo) and in 2021 her debut at the Mikhailovskiy Theatre as Natalia in Tchaikovsky’s The Oprichnik.
